If You Want Blood You’ve Got It
If You Want Blood You've Got It is AC/DC's first live album, and the only one issued while Bon Scott was still alive. The Australian hard rock band put it out on Atlantic in October 1978, with the US and Australian releases following in November. It was reissued in 1994 and again in 2003 as part of the AC/DC Remasters series.
It arrived between Powerage and Highway to Hell, so it catches the band in the closing stretch of the Scott years, before Back in Black changed everything. For anyone who knows the group mainly from the studio records, it is a chance to hear their blues-rooted, arena-sized hard rock as a live act, with Scott out front.
