Who Made Who
Who Made Who is AC/DC's soundtrack to Maximum Overdrive, the Stephen King film, and it also works as a compilation of the band's work. It came out on Atlantic in May 1986, which places it between Fly on the Wall (1985) and Blow Up Your Video (1988). The album was reissued in 2003 as part of the AC/DC Remasters series.
For a hard rock band that had built its name on a run of studio albums from High Voltage in 1975 onwards, it makes a handy stopgap in the catalogue, collecting material under a film banner rather than presenting a conventional new record. It suits anyone who likes their AC/DC served in a single, straightforward helping, and it shows how comfortably the band's no-frills rock fitted a story about machines running riot.
