Black Laden Crown
Black Laden Crown is the eleventh studio album by the American heavy metal band Danzig, released on 26 May 2017 on Evilive. It is the tenth of all-new original material, since the previous record, Skeletons (2015), was a collection of covers.
The album follows Deth Red Sabaoth (2010) in the band's run of studio releases, which began with the self-titled debut in 1988 and took in Lucifuge, How the Gods Kill and Blackacidevil along the way. Sitting between heavy metal and hard rock, it is a record for anyone who has followed the group since those early days and wants to hear where the story had reached by the middle of the 2010s. Sings Elvis would follow in 2020.
