Sings Elvis
Danzig Sings Elvis is the twelfth studio album from the American heavy metal band Danzig, released on 17 April 2020 through Cleopatra Records. As the title makes plain, it is a set of cover versions, every track originally recorded by Elvis Presley.
It follows Black Laden Crown (2017) and comes after a run of studio albums stretching back to the band's self-titled debut in 1988. A record of Presley songs is an unexpected turn for a band best known for darker, heavier material, which is much of the appeal. "Always on My Mind" was the sole single, issued on 29 July 2020 on 7-inch vinyl and via digital and streaming formats, with an alternate vocal version of "Loving Arms" on the B-side.
