Album
Iron Fist
Iron Fist is Motörhead's fifth studio album, released by Bronze on 17 April 1982. It came two years after Ace of Spades and turned out to be the last record made by the classic trio of Lemmy Kilmister, "Fast" Eddie Clarke and Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor, which gives it a particular place in the band's story.
The title track came out ahead of the album as a single and reached No. 29 in the UK. The album itself climbed to No. 6 on the UK chart, a strong showing for a band working in heavy metal and hard rock. For anyone who loves the Motörhead of the early 1980s, it is the final chance to hear that original three-piece together on a full studio album, before the group moved in a different direction with Another Perfect Day.
