St Valentines Day Massacre
St Valentine's Day Massacre is a 1981 EP that teamed Motörhead with their Bronze Records labelmates Girlschool. The two bands recorded together under the name Headgirl, and the release reached number five in the UK Singles Chart.
It arrived in the wake of Ace of Spades and a couple of years before Iron Fist, so it catches Motörhead at a busy point in their story. It was put out in February 1981, and it is a good one to hear for the sight of two hard-rocking Bronze acts joining forces.
