Album
Aftershock
Aftershock is Motörhead's twenty-first studio album, released in October 2013 on UDR. It was first expected in mid-2013, and arrived in stages that October, reaching Germany first and then the rest of Europe and North America a few days later. It was the fourth record from the band's partnership between UDR GmbH and Motörhead Music, and the first to be distributed by ADA.
The album sits late in the band's long run of studio records, following The Wörld Is Yours in 2010 and ahead of Bad Magic in 2015. For anyone who has followed Motörhead since the days of Ace of Spades or 1916, it is worth hearing as a snapshot of the band's heavy metal work in its fourth decade, still turning out albums at a steady pace.
