Promised Land is the fifth studio album by Queensrÿche, the American progressive metal band, released on 18 October 1994 through EMI Records USA. It arrived four years after Empire, the record that had brought them real success, and it stands as the highest-charting album of their career so far.

Placed between Empire and Hear in the Now Frontier, it sits at the centre of the band's run of 1990s albums, and its blend of progressive metal, heavy metal and hard rock makes it a useful marker of where they were heading after that long gap. A remastered edition with bonus tracks followed on 10 June 2003, which is a handy way in for anyone wanting to revisit it.
