Dedicated to Chaos
Dedicated to Chaos is Queensrÿche's twelfth studio album, released on 21 June 2011. It was the band's first record for Loud & Proud, the label run by Roadrunner Records. Like its predecessor, American Soldier, it was made by the group as a quartet, with Parker Lundgren appearing as a guest guitarist before he went on to become a permanent member.
The album sits at a turning point in the band's story, as it was the last to feature longtime lead vocalist Geoff Tate, who was fired in 2012. It entered the Billboard 200 at No. 70, a step down from American Soldier, which had reached No. 25. For anyone tracing how the Queensrÿche of Operation: Mindcrime and Empire arrived at the split that followed, this record is the final chapter of the Tate era.
