Live at Last is a Black Sabbath concert album that reached the shops in 1980, issued by NEMS. The band neither knew about it nor approved it. Their former manager, Patrick Meehan, owned the rights to the recording and put it out legally, and the sleeve famously credited the singer as "Ossie Osbourne".

It was a hit all the same, climbing to No. 5 on the UK Albums Chart. It appeared in the same year as Heaven and Hell, the studio album that opened a new chapter for the group, so it looks back at an earlier era just as the band was moving on. The band later gave it an official release on 20 August 2002 in the US, as the first disc of the two-disc Past Lives set. It is worth hearing as a document of how the band sounded on stage, with a backstory as odd as anything on the record.
