Q2K

Q2K is the seventh studio album by Queensrÿche, released on 14 September 1999 on Atlantic. It followed Hear in the Now Frontier and arrived with "Breakdown" as its first single. The record is the only one in the band's catalogue to feature guitarist Kelly Gray as an official member. Gray had played alongside vocalist Geoff Tate in an early 1980s band called Myth, so the line-up carried a bit of shared history.

"The Right Side of My Mind" became the band's first music video since Promised Land and picked up occasional airplay on VH1 Classic, which also premiered it in a special co-hosted by Tate. Rhino reissued the album on 29 August 2006 in an expanded, remastered edition with four bonus tracks. Two songs from the sessions, "Discipline" and "Monologue", remain unreleased, which will intrigue completists.
