III Sides to Every Story
III Sides to Every Story is the third studio album by Extreme, released on 14 September 1992 on A&M Records. It arrived as the follow-up to Pornograffitti, the record that had brought the Massachusetts band its biggest success, and it found them stretching out across hard rock, funk metal and more traditional heavy metal rather than simply repeating a winning formula.
It is also the last album to feature the band's original line-up in full: singer Gary Cherone, guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, bassist Pat Badger and drummer Paul Geary, who left in 1994. For anyone who knows Extreme mainly through their best-loved hits, this is the record that shows the band at its most ambitious, with the original four still together.
