Extreme II: Pornograffitti (A Funked Up Fairy Tale)
Extreme II: Pornograffitti (A Funked Up Fairy Tale) is the second album from Extreme, released on 7 August 1990 through A&M Records. It followed their self-titled debut of 1989 and sits at the centre of their story. The title blends "pornography" and "graffiti", and the record mixes hard rock, funk metal and glam metal.
It is the band's best-selling album, reaching No. 10 on the Billboard 200 and going double platinum in the US. "More Than Words" climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while "Hole Hearted" reached No. 4. Meanwhile, "Decadence Dance" and "Get the Funk Out" found a home on MTV's Headbangers Ball. That spread of sounds, from a hit ballad to heavier, funk-driven cuts, is the reason to hear it.
