Whoosh!
Whoosh! is Deep Purple's twenty-first studio album, released on 7 August 2020 on earMUSIC. It's a hard rock record that follows 2017's Infinite and arrived in the band's second half-century, a stretch that also takes in Now What?! from 2013.
It matters in the band's story as the last album of original material to feature guitarist Steve Morse, who left in July 2022. He did still appear on the covers collection Turning to Crime, which followed in 2021, but Whoosh! is the final time he played on a set of newly written Purple songs.
