EP
Space Truckin’
Space Truckin' is an EP from Deep Purple, released in 1973 on Capitol Records. It arrived in the middle of the band's early-seventies run, the same year as Who Do We Think We Are, and just after Machine Head, which came out in 1972.
The title will be familiar to anyone who knows that period of the band's career, and this release gives it a place of its own outside the studio albums. It is a small piece of the Deep Purple story rather than a major chapter, but it is worth tracking down if you enjoy the group's sound from the years when they were establishing themselves as one of hard rock's heavyweights.
