This Time Around Live in Tokyo 75
This Time Around: Live in Tokyo '75 is a live album by Deep Purple, released in 2001 on Tommy Bolin Archives, Inc. It presents the complete show the band played in Tokyo on 15 December 1975.
The recording has an earlier history. After the band's demise in 1976, a shortened and heavily edited version of the concert appeared as Last Concert in Japan in 1977. Following so soon after Made in Japan, another Japanese live album, it failed to deliver, and it was never issued in the UK or the US. This 2001 release gives the performance in full, so listeners can hear the night as it unfolded. It is a useful document of the band's final days in this line-up, around the time of Come Taste the Band.
