Album
SPLAT!
Splat! is Deep Purple's 24th studio album, released on 3 July 2026 on 2M Producciones. It's a hard rock record, and it arrives as the follow-up to =1 from 2024, which means it's only the second album to feature guitarist Simon McBride.
Behind the desk once again is Bob Ezrin, who has produced every Deep Purple album since Now What?! in 2013. This is their sixth outing together, a partnership that has now run through several records and given the band's later career a steady creative hand. If you've followed the group through the Ezrin years, this is the next chapter, and a chance to hear how McBride's playing settles into the line-up.
