Album
Troublegum
Troublegum is the fourth studio album by Northern Irish rock band Therapy?, released on 7 February 1994 by A&M Records. It arrived after the success of "Screamager" and shifted the band towards a more punk-minded sound, drawing comparisons with Stiff Little Fingers and the Undertones. That was a change from the noise rock influences that marked their earlier work.
It is the record that took Therapy? furthest. Several singles were lifted from it, most of them backed by promo videos, and the album went on to sell over one million copies worldwide. Kerrang! named it the best album of 1994. For anyone tracing the band's story, this is the point where their rough edges met a wider audience.
