Therapy?

Therapy? are a Northern Irish rock band from Larne, formed in 1989 by guitarist and vocalist Andy Cairns and drummer Fyfe Ewing, with local bassist Michael McKeegan completing the line-up. Their sound sits across alternative metal and alternative rock, and they signed to A&M Records in 1992. They have been a three-piece since Martin McCarrick left in 2004, with Neil Cooper on drums since 2002.

Start with Troublegum, from 1994, and Infernal Love, from 1995, the two A&M albums they are most closely associated with. Nurse and Semi-Detached are also well worth your time. Their catalogue stretches from Babyteeth in 1991 to Hard Cold Fire in 2023, and they now record for the independent label Marshall Records, having sold over two million albums worldwide.
