Nurse
Nurse is the first album Therapy? made for a major label, released on A&M Records on 2 November 1992. It arrived in the same year as the band's Pleasure Death and Caucasian Psychosis, so 1992 was a busy one for them, and it followed their 1991 debut, Babyteeth.
The record sits at a crossroads of styles, with the band's sound drawing on alternative metal, noise rock, industrial metal and indie rock. That mix is a good reason to seek it out if you only know the group from their later work. It is the step between their early independent records and Troublegum, which came in 1994, and it shows a band bringing its abrasive, genre-blurring approach to a bigger label.
