The Waste Lands is the eighth studio album by Venom, the British heavy metal band, released on 29 October 1992 through Under One Flag. It sits in the genre blend of heavy, speed and thrash metal, and follows Temples of Ice from 1991. As with that record, the band had hoped to work with producer Howard Benson, formerly of Child's Play, but he was unavailable again, so they stayed with Kevin Ridley.

Its place in the band's story is what makes it interesting. This is the last album to feature bassist and singer Tony "Demolition Man" Dolan, and the last before the classic line-up behind Welcome to Hell, Black Metal, At War with Satan and Possessed came back together. The working title was Kissing the Beast, but the band dropped it once they had the cover artwork from Tari József of Aurea Aetas. A useful record for hearing Venom in their Dolan-era closing chapter.
