Leprosy is the second studio album by the American death metal band Death, released in August 1988. It follows their debut, Scream Bloody Gore (1987), but sounds noticeably different in tone and quality. It also marks the arrival of drummer Bill Andrews, and it is the only Death studio album to feature guitarist Rick Rozz.

The record is also the first to carry the production and engineering work of Scott Burns, a name that would turn up on many death metal and grindcore albums of the period. Metal Hammer's Shaun Lindsley saw it as the point where Death left their thrash-tinged beginnings behind. It is regarded as a groundbreaking record for the genre, and Loudwire placed it 64th among the best hard rock and metal albums of the 80s. A good one to hear if you want to know how death metal found its own sound.
