Storm the Gates is the fifteenth studio album by Venom, the English heavy metal band. It came out on 14 December 2018 through Spinefarm Records, and it is filed under heavy metal.
It arrived three years after From the Very Depths, which had been the band's fourteenth album. For anyone following the story from Welcome to Hell in 1981 and Black Metal in 1982, it shows a group still releasing new records decades on. It also sits just before Into Oblivion, the next entry in their catalogue. If you want to hear where Venom stood at the end of 2018, this is the one to put on.
