Desensitized

Desensitized is the second album from Pitchshifter, an industrial metal band, and it came out on 14 December 1993 on Earache Records. It followed their debut, Industrial, from 1991, and sits at the point where the group were building their mix of heavy guitars and electronic textures.

The track "Triad" is the one to seek out. It had a music video that put the band in a plain white room, and it was picked for the 1994 science fiction horror film Brainscan, which gave the song a life beyond the record itself. Later albums such as Infotainment? and www.pitchshifter.com would follow, but this is the place to hear the band between their first release and that next stretch.
