Bootlegged, Distorted, Remixed & Uploaded
Bootlegged, Distorted, Remixed & Uploaded is a two-disc release from the English industrial rock band Pitchshifter, put out on 10 March 2003 through their own label, PSI Records. It arrived a year after their studio album PSI, which was also the name of the label, so it sits as a stopgap between records rather than a new set of songs.
The first disc captures a concert the band played at the London Astoria in 2002, giving a snapshot of Pitchshifter on stage. The second disc gathers remixes, which suits a group whose sound has always sat between guitars and electronics. The artwork is by DOSE-productions.com. It's a good pick for anyone who knows the studio albums and wants to hear how the band handled the live room and the remix desk.
