Album
Snake Bite Love
Snake Bite Love is Motörhead's fourteenth studio album, released on 10 March 1998. It came out through Steamhammer, the third record the band made with the label, and appeared in the US the same year on CMC International Records.
It sits in the middle of the group's long run of studio albums, following Overnight Sensation in 1996 and preceding We Are Motörhead in 2000. Its sound is rooted in heavy metal and hard rock, with a firm leaning towards the traditional end of the genre. For anyone tracing the band's work through the late nineties, it is the record that links those two neighbours.
