The Best of Motörhead
The Best of Motörhead is a compilation gathering 20 of the band's most popular songs. It came out on Roadrunner Records on 6 July 1993, and in the United States the same year.
It arrived at a busy moment in the band's story. The group had put out 1916 in 1991 and March ör Die in 1992, and Bastards followed in 1993. For anyone coming to a catalogue that already stretched back to the self-titled debut of 1977, a single-disc run of favourites makes a handy way in, with the heavy metal and rock side of the band laid out in one place.
