Album
Back for the Attack
Back for the Attack is the fourth studio album by American band Dokken, released in November 1987 on Elektra. It followed Under Lock and Key (1985), and its title came from an earlier Dokken song recorded during the sessions for that record, which ended up as the B-side to "Dream Warriors". That song was later added to the 2009 remastered edition as a bonus track.
It is the band's best-selling album, reaching No. 13 on the Billboard 200 and staying there for 33 weeks. It went Gold and Platinum in January 1988, with worldwide sales of about 1.5 million. Three singles made the Mainstream Rock chart: "Dream Warriors", written for A Nightmare on Elm Street 3, "Prisoner" and "Burning Like a Flame", which also reached No. 72 on the Hot 100. A good place to hear Dokken at their commercial peak.
