Album
Infernal Love
Infernal Love is the fifth album by Therapy?, the rock band from Northern Ireland. It came out in June 1995 on A&M Records, and it was their third record for a major label. The band recorded it at Real World Studios in Box, Wiltshire, working there between January and March of that year.
It follows Troublegum, which arrived in 1994, and sits in the middle of a long run of studio albums that stretches from Babyteeth in 1991 to Hard Cold Fire in 2023. For anyone who knows the band mainly through their earlier work, this is the record where they stepped into a well-regarded studio and took their time over the follow-up. It is worth hearing as a snapshot of Therapy? in the mid-1990s, at a point when they had a major-label platform behind them.
