Recordings
Recordings is a compilation from British progressive rock band Porcupine Tree, released in June 2001. It gathers b-sides and previously unreleased songs left over from the sessions for Stupid Dream and Lightbulb Sun, the two albums that came before it in the band's catalogue.
It first appeared as a limited run of 20,000 copies worldwide, so it was never an easy record to find. A CD reissue followed in September 2010, and a double vinyl edition, pressed in just 2,000 copies, arrived in January 2011. For anyone who loves those two albums, it is a chance to hear what else the band was working on around them, shortly before In Absentia took the story in a new direction.
