EP
Queensrÿche
Queensrÿche's self-titled debut EP arrived in 1982, put out independently on the band's own 206 Records. It introduced the American band, whose work sits in the progressive and traditional heavy metal camp, and it came before every one of their studio albums, beginning with The Warning in 1984.
The EP found a wider audience when EMI America Records reissued it the following year. A remastered edition followed in 2003 through Capitol Records. If you want to hear where a band that later made Operation: Mindcrime and Empire first stepped out, this is the place to start.
