The Mediator Between Head and Hands Must Be the Heart is the thirteenth studio album by Brazilian band Sepultura, released on 25 October 2013 through Nuclear Blast. It takes its inspiration from the 1927 science fiction film Metropolis, and its title is a line quoted from that film.

It arrived as the group's first record with drummer Eloy Casagrande, and their first made in the United States since Against in 1998. Ross Robinson, who produced Roots in 1996, returned behind the desk, which makes this a record worth hearing for the link back to one of the band's best-known periods. It follows Kairos from 2011 and sits just before Machine Messiah.
