The Best of Sepultura
The Best of Sepultura is a compilation drawn from the band's years on Roadrunner Records, released on 12 September 2006. After "Inner Self", the running order is mostly the singles from 1991 to 1996. For Arise, it picks the single "Under Siege (Regnum Irae)" rather than the album track "Desperate Cry".
It arrived without the band's involvement, as they were by then signed to SPV Records, and Sepultura do not officially recognise it. Several Roadrunner-era records are left out, including Morbid Visions, Against and Nation, and the Bestial Devastation EP. It came out alongside similar unsanctioned collections from Type O Negative, Fear Factory and Ill Niño. For anyone wanting the single-focused route through the early-to-mid 1990s, it covers that stretch neatly.
