Revolusongs

Revolusongs is a seven-track EP of cover versions by Brazilian band Sepultura, issued in November 2002 and sold only in Brazil and Japan. It arrived between Nation and Roorback, in a period when the group were reshaping themselves after a long run of albums that mixed groove, thrash and alternative metal.

The best-known track is their take on U2's "Bullet the Blue Sky", which was put out as a single and also sat alongside the material on Roorback. When Roorback appeared in 2003 through SPV Records, Revolusongs came with it as a bonus disc on the digipak and vinyl editions, though without the final song and the video tracks. It is a handy way to hear what the band chose to borrow, and how they bent it to their own heavy sound.
