Disasterpieces
Disasterpieces is Slipknot's second video release, a two-disc set put out by Roadrunner Records on 26 November 2002. It arrived between Iowa and Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses), and it captures the band at a point when they already had two albums' worth of material to draw on.
The main attraction is a concert filmed at London Dockland Arena. Twenty-six cameras covered the show, including one mounted on the headstock of Mick Thomson's guitar and several giving a first-person view from inside the band. Shawn Crahan helped edit it, having watched all the footage himself. The second disc gathers every Slipknot music video to that point, with songs from the self-titled debut and Iowa. Reviewers praised the fast cutting and strong sound, and it remains the band's best-selling DVD, certified quadruple platinum.
