Antennas to Hell
Antennas to Hell is Slipknot's first greatest hits compilation, released on 23 July 2012 by Roadrunner Records. It gathers the band's hit singles alongside fan favourites and some live tracks, drawing on a run of records that began with their 1999 self-titled debut. It was also the first release since the death of bassist Paul Gray in 2010.
The extras give it extra pull for collectors. The two-disc edition adds a live CD recorded at the 2009 Download Festival at Donington Park, while the three-disc version includes a DVD with every Slipknot music video and ten new video pieces, "Broadcasts from Hell", made by Shawn Crahan. Crahan has described the set as more a tribute to what the band were at the time of the songs than a straightforward round-up, and it comes with plenty of artwork too.
