Day of the Gusano: Live in Mexico
Day of the Gusano: Live in Mexico is Slipknot's second live album, released on 20 October 2017. It captures the band's first ever concert in Mexico, played on 5 December 2015, and it reached cinema screens on 6 September 2017 before arriving on disc and download. Genre-wise it sits in alternative metal and rap metal, and it came out through Ward Records.
Its place in the story matters. It is the band's first live release since 9.0: Live in 2005, and the first to feature bassist Alessandro Venturella and drummer Jay Weinberg, who joined after the death of Paul Gray in 2010 and Joey Jordison's departure in 2013.
