Album
Now Is the Time
Now Is the Time is Alanis Morissette's second studio album, released in Canada on 20 October 1992. It followed her debut, Alanis, which came out in 1991, and she made it with the same producer, Leslie Howe, who had worked on that first record.
The album was issued only in Canada and was her last for MCA Records Canada. Its sound sits in the dance-pop and pop-rock camp, with a teen-pop sheen. For anyone curious about how Morissette got from her early records to Jagged Little Pill in 1995, it is the middle step, a chance to hear her at work in the years before that turn.
