Last Christmas
Last Christmas is a Christmas EP from Alanis Morissette, released on 3 November 2023 through Epiphany Music. It arrived a year after The Storm Before the Calm, the most recent studio album in her catalogue, and it shows a different side of an artist best known for the confessional songwriting of Jagged Little Pill.
For anyone who has followed her from the 1990s onwards, it makes a seasonal companion to her main run of records, from Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie through to Such Pretty Forks in the Road. It is a short release, suited to a festive playlist, and worth a listen if you enjoy hearing a familiar voice step outside her usual album cycle.
