Greatest Hits
Greatest Hits is a compilation from American rock band Foo Fighters, released by RCA in November 2009. It gathers the band's best-known material into a single collection, drawing on a career that began with their self-titled debut in 1995.
The record arrived between Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace (2007) and Wasting Light (2011), so it works as a snapshot of the band's first decade and a half before their next studio chapter. For anyone coming to the group through their alternative rock, hard rock and post-grunge sound, it is a handy place to start before digging into the individual albums.
