Songs From the Laundry Room
Songs From the Laundry Room is a Foo Fighters EP issued by RCA on 18 April 2015, available only as a Record Store Day exclusive. It gathers songs Dave Grohl recorded during his years in Nirvana, and, as on the band's self-titled debut album, he plays every instrument himself.
For anyone tracing how Foo Fighters began, it is a neat companion piece to that 1995 debut, offering a glimpse of Grohl writing and playing alone before the band existed. Its alternative rock sound and its limited release make it a small but welcome curiosity in the group's catalogue.
