Album
Fandango!
Fandango! is ZZ Top's fourth album, released on 18 April 1975 on London Records. It followed Tres Hombres from 1973 and came before Tejas in 1976, sitting in the middle of the band's early run of Texas boogie and blues rock records.
The record is split in two. The first side collects selections from live shows, so you hear the band working a room, while the second side holds new studio recordings. That mix gives it a different shape from the albums on either side of it, and it's a good place to hear the group both on stage and in the studio. A remastered and expanded edition followed on 28 February 2006.
