Good to Be Bad
Good to Be Bad is Whitesnake's tenth studio album, released on 18 April 2008. It was the band's first collection of new studio material in a decade, following 1997's Restless Heart, and it introduced the twin-guitar line-up of Reb Beach and Doug Aldrich. Three singles came from it, "Lay Down Your Love", "All for Love" and "Summer Rain", along with the promotional single "Can You Hear the Wind Blow".
The record did well for an independent release, reaching number 7 in the UK and number 62 on the Billboard 200, and it had sold over 700,000 copies worldwide by March 2011. It returned in 2023 as Still...Good to Be Bad, with remixes, remasters, alternate mixes and demo tapes. Many of its songs also resurfaced on the Red, White and Blues trilogy of 2020 and 2021. For anyone curious about Whitesnake after the 1980s, it is a good place to start.
