Album
Flesh & Blood
Flesh & Blood is the thirteenth studio album by the English rock band Whitesnake, released on 10 May 2019. It follows The Purple Album from 2015, a record that revisited songs from David Coverdale's Deep Purple years, and it is the band's final studio album. The lead single, "Shut Up & Kiss Me", came with a music video.
It was a solid return to the charts. The record reached number 7 on the UK Albums Chart and went to the top of the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart. For anyone who has followed the band from the late-seventies blues-rock of Trouble through the polished hard rock of the 1987 self-titled album and beyond, it makes a fitting last chapter and is well worth hearing.
