Bag of Bones
Bag of Bones is the ninth studio album by the Swedish band Europe, released on 18 April 2012. It came out on earMUSIC, with Japan getting it first through Victor Entertainment, followed a week later in Sweden via Gain Music Entertainment. It is a heavy metal record, and the third album since the band's return with Start From the Dark in 2004, following Secret Society and Last Look at Eden.
The record carries a nice bit of history for British listeners. It became the first Europe album to reach the UK Top 100 Albums since Prisoners in Paradise in 1991, and it climbed to number 3 on the UK Top 40 Rock Albums chart. For anyone who knows the band mainly through The Final Countdown, it is a good way into the later chapter of their story, before War of Kings arrived in 2015.
