Album
War of Kings
War of Kings is the tenth studio album by the Swedish rock band Europe, released on 2 March 2015. It follows Bag of Bones from 2012 and came out on Hell & Back Recordings, with a UK and European release dated 27 November 2015.
The record belongs to the band's second act, the run of albums that began with Start From the Dark in 2004 and has kept them in hard rock territory. It sits between Bag of Bones and Walk the Earth, which arrived in 2017. For anyone who knows Europe mainly through The Final Countdown from 1986, it's a useful way into the later catalogue and shows where the band headed once the 1980s were behind them.
