Super Hits is a budget-priced, ten-track compilation of Europe's work, released in 1998 on Epic. It was put together by producer Bruce Dickinson, who shouldn't be confused with the Iron Maiden vocalist, and it was aimed squarely at casual listeners who want the big songs without buying a whole catalogue.

Those big songs are "The Final Countdown" and "Carrie", the band's two best-known hits. Curiously, the selection passes over "Rock the Night" and "Superstitious", choosing instead a run of album tracks and singles that never took off. That makes it a handy entry point for anyone who knows Europe from the radio, with a few deeper cuts from their 1980s hard rock years to explore once the two famous ones have played.
