The Final Countdown 30th Anniversary Show (live at the Roundhouse)
This double live album captures Swedish hard rock band Europe at the Roundhouse on 12 November 2016, during the tour marking thirty years since The Final Countdown. It came out on 21 July 2017 through Del Imaginario Discos, and was issued on CD, DVD and Blu-ray, so you can choose between hearing the night and watching it.
The set pairs two records from very different points in the band's story. It includes every song from The Final Countdown, their 1986 breakthrough, alongside every track from War of Kings, released in 2015 after the group's return in the 2000s. Hearing the old album played in full next to the newer, heavier one makes this a handy way to see how far Europe have travelled, and how comfortably they carry both eras on stage.
