Happy Pills is the third studio album by Candlebox, the Seattle rock band, released on 21 July 1998 on Maverick. It follows their self-titled debut of 1993 and Lucy in 1995, and it brought a change behind the kit: Dave Krusen, an early Pearl Jam drummer, joined in 1997 in place of Scott Mercado. The band produced the record themselves alongside Ron Nevison, whose credits include work with Led Zeppelin, Ozzy Osbourne, Europe, Heart and Firehouse.

The album did not match the success of its two predecessors, and it turned out to be the group's last before a hiatus that began in 2000. It was also their final record for Maverick. It is a useful one to hear if you want the post-grunge band's story in full, and four of its tracks later appeared on The Best of Candlebox in 2006.
