Disappearing in Airports
Disappearing in Airports is the sixth studio album by the American rock band Candlebox, released on 22 April 2016 on Pavement Entertainment. It sits between Love Stories & Other Musings from 2012 and Wolves, which followed in 2021, and it is filed under alternative rock.
It is a record of change for the Candlebox story. It is the first made without original guitarist Peter Klett, which leaves singer Kevin Martin as the only founding member still in the line-up. Dave Krusen, formerly the drummer with Pearl Jam, also returned for the sessions. For anyone who has followed the band since their 1993 debut, it shows a group carrying on around its voice, and it is worth hearing for that reason.
